Designercity helped create an engaging social media campaign to promote Arsenal’s 2013 Asia Tour to raise awareness amongst the public and boost sales of tickets, while also collecting fans’ information for campaigns to run the following years. Designercity provided creative concept, project planning, copywriting and FB application development for this trilingual, tri-city outreach.
Effectiveness / Results
The ‘Prove Your Arsenal Passion!’ Facebook App in support of Arsenal’s Asia Tour across Japan, Vietnam and Indonesia, was a first. It was a trilingual app created with language selections in Japanese, Vietnamese and Bahasa. The campaign generated 45,000 visitors, 10,000 app users and nearly 3000 competition responses. It brought together the Arsenal community in Asia, encouraging them to generate content, drove competition amongst the three countries, kept them updated with game information, and provided great prizes like a trip to London to watch Arsenal play live in their home ground.
The content was hosted in “Windows Azure” Cloud to support regional requirements, which is another first for any digital agency in Hong Kong.
