BT appoints Mary Kavanagh as senior regional communications manager

HONG KONG - British Telecom (BT) Asia-Pacific has appointed Mary Kayanagh as its new senior manager of international communications for Asia-Pacific. She came on board two days ago.

Prior to joining BT in Hong Kong, Kayanagh (pictured) held a marketing communications role at Microsoft in Denmark.

Kayanagh replaces Jay Frame who resigned from the company. In her new role, she reports to Richard Wright, director of corporate communications and public relations.

She will be responsible for all of BTs internal communications across the region, as well as managing the internal communications globally around BTs recently announced Asia expansion programme.

In the region BT uses Bing as its marketing and communications partner along with other PR agencies on a project basis.
