Mercedes-Benz Motor Show 2018

Vietnam Motor Show 2018 (VMS 2018) was the cooperation between Vietnam Automobile Manufacturers Association (VAMA) and the Vehicle Importers of Vietnam Association (VIVA), which was expected to be the exclusive and biggest specialized exhibition ever in automobile sector in Vietnam.

Located in the center of Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC) hall with the biggest area up to almost 1,000 sqm, the booth of Mercedes-Benz Vietnam obviously attracts the great attention from most visitors to Vietnam Motor Show 2018. It is the challenge for PER-FECTIV in the role of MBV’s booth orgarnizer for the first time.

Planning & Execution

As usual, Mercedes-Benz continues identifying itself with Silver Flow design used in exhibition seasons. This year, in order to convey the theme "Just like you", Mercedes-Benz aimed to a minimalist booth, streamlining performance, dedicated lighting system to focus on convenient product experience for visitors, media and press.

With the area almost 1,000 square meters (18mW x 52mL), located in center of the exhibition hall, for the first time, Mercedes-Benz booth is designed and built with four-opened sides which makes easier for visitors to access and enjoy the booth from all four gates of SECC.

The brand "three-pointed star" brings to Vietnam Motor Show 2018 the largest numbers of displayed cars with with 21 different models, including 14 models at the central area and other 7 models at the certified area, meeting the demand of various target customers. Especially, the moving performance of 12 Mercedes-Benz cars is the unique, most interesting perforamance at the press day of Vietnam Motor Show 2018.

Standing out in the middle of the booth is the guest area Star Lounge attaining 5-star standards which brings an interactive and relaxing space to VIP guests of Mercedes-Benz. Besides, the most luxury model Mercedes-Maybach is also displayed in Star Lounge with the highest standards.

Germany car maker also diversifies booth activities with Corporate Customer Care area, interactive social network and accessories display area. In particular, the area of Mercedes-Benz Certified cars is integrated into indoor exhibition area as a strategic business section of Mercedes-Benz Vietnam. Moreover, Mercedes-Benz also arranges more than 10 cars for outdoor test driving test so that customers who are interested in Mercedes-Benz models can experience the cars practically.

Effectiveness / Results

Vietnam Motor Show 2018 was recognized as the most successful exhibition ever with numerous impressive figures, attracted the attention and participation of over 185,000 visitors in HCMC and other provinces; 880 cars were sold and ordered in which Mercedes-Benz Vietnam drove significant car sales with about 200 cars sold. During the exhibition, Mercedes Benz Vietnam has shown off its role of the luxury car brand leading the automobile industry in Vietnam, attached the most attention from visitors as well as gaining the most success in Vietnam Motor Show 2018.
