Former Adidas digital lead joins Havas Media in regional role

ASIA-PACIFIC – Havas Media has appointed the former global head of social and digital media for Adidas, Gaetano Squillante, as head of digital strategy for the region.

Based in Singapore, Squillante will lead the network’s digital practices and platform led solutions.

He joins the agency with several years of experience in the digital marketing industry. During his tenure at Adidas, he was part of the team that spearheaded the brand’s 2010 World Cup campaign and has driven the development of its global social media team.

Prior to Adidas, Squillante worked with OMD Digital as an account director and with MEC as a director of integration.

Describing Squillante as a “cool head” who “walks-the-talk”, SK Biswas, head of strategy for Havas Media Asia-Pacific, added, “He brings in a unique skill set of understanding not just the digital ecosystem but also what really delivers for a brand.”
